Every new member at Cornerstone is encouraged to attend our Encourager Classes. These classes are taught on Sunday night. We make them fun, informative, and challenging! The classes cover what we believe, how the church is organized, and they challenge you to live a life committed to Our Lord Jesus Christ. Great relationships are built as we spend these Sunday night hours together.
We serve dinner at each class, and childcare is provided if necessary. There are four classes:
The Belonging Class
The Belonging Class stresses the importance of being a part of the body of Christ. Every Christian should have a local church in which they can flourish in their faith and be an integral part of God's work and mission.
The Growing Class
The emphasis in our Growing Class is on every Christian's responsibility to grow up in their relationship with the Lord. It takes effort and commitment to become a mature Christian, but it is worth it. You will be greatly challenged in this class to make progress in your faith!
The Serving Class
Serving may sound a little "old fashioned" to some, but not at Cornerstone. In our Serving Class, each person is encouraged to discover how he/she is uniquely created and shaped by God to accomplish his part in His Body.
The Sharing Class
People need the Lord! It is our responsibility to share our lives, our love, and our faith with those around us. The Sharing Class places this responsibility squarely on your shoulders, because that is where God has placed it – on you and me! Our witness to the world around us will make a difference on earth, and will determine where people spend eternity.
